Kudos to these unsung heroes. Most big-shot lawyers would be totally lost without them. I remember one Saturday when a senior partner came in and asked how to mail a letter. I said, "put a stamp on it and drop it in a mailbox." Without these fine folk most major law firms would collapse under their own weight.

Unsung Heroes of 2009
The Wisconsin Law Journal honored more than 50 members of the legal community at its 4th Annual Unsung Heroes event on Nov. 13. The event, attended by more than 300 attorneys, judges and other legal professionals recognized individuals including legal secretaries, IT professionals and law firm administrators for their contributions.
